Five Friday Favorites 6th Edition

This past week has been crazy and busy and full. We are in the midst of big transitions with school and life, so I have found myself wanting to savor a few more things when I get a chance and create with my hands. Here have been my favorites from the last week.

Yarn Bee Sugar Wheel in Crocus in Focus- I bought some of this year this week to start crocheting a blanket for my bedroom. I’m watching a couple shows right now with my kids and I wanted something to do with my hands while I watch. This has been the perfect thing and it relaxes me, and I can definitely use more of that right now! (If you’re curious, I’m using this free pattern, but altering it a little for size.)

Smartless Podcast: Martin Short Interview- I have really been enjoying the Smartless podcast lately with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes. One of their recent episodes was with Martin Short ,who I am a big fan of, and it was so fun to hear more of his backstory. It’s a fabulously witty and self deprecating show. WARNING- There is language on this podcast.

Inkey List Collagen Booster- I have really been enjoying this little product lately as a part of my skincare routine. I feel like it helps plump and smooth, and a little goes a long way. I am also enjoying their caffeine eye cream in the mornings.

Monstera Plant from Fast Growing Trees- I am absolutely loving my Monstera plant. Last fall the dog ate all but one leaf off of it and it has come back in full force! I love seeing how quickly it grows new leaves, even in the middle of winter, and it has been incredibly satisfying to see this hardy plant overcome my black thumb! I’d say this guy is great for beginners. (if you order from Fast Growing Trees, tell them I sent you!)

Organify Greens- I am incredibly picky but these greens are actually palatable! I drink them almost every day, especially if I don’t think I’m getting enough veggies, and I love how I feel when I am consistently taking them. It’s a great company with well-sourced ingredients and the drink has a nice sweet, minty finish. Worth every penny!
